That is found in Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
That was a very profound question.
It is linked to the Creator: Allah.
I found no better book that delves into the reality of this human being than the Quran
“And Allah created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted [additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register. Indeed, that for Allah is easy.”
Quran 15:11
When seeking truths and realities, there are many obstacles on the way.
Truth is beyond gender, race, atheism, agnoticism and even religion.
It is just what it is without any interference from us.
The sufis have a very nice word to describe it.
They call it Al-Kashf. It is usually translated as unveiling.
Some may claim that the truth about the nature of this Man is confined to this body.
However, that is just an absurd claim.
This body remains shrouded in mysteries that science has yet to unfold.
This boby may appear with a changless form.
Yet, the reality is that the changes, happening within it, are so fast that we do not even feel them.
One of the microscopic molecules that helps accelerate chemical reactions within the body cells is called an enzyme.
Without enzymes, there would be no human life.
Those chemical reactions that happen in the body, would take longer that the life of this universe, to happen without enzymes.
An enzyme is only one small component in a universe called the cell.
Every second, an average of 3 million cells die in our body and another 3 millions are made at the same time.
The battle of life and death is constantly raging in our body.
Yet, many of us remain ungrateful for this gift called life.
Eventually, death will come to us all.
That is only temporary though.
For the gift of life is eternal.
May you truly read the following:
“And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay.
Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging.
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.
Then indeed, after that you are to die.
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.”
Quran 23:12-16
