Free speech as in “you can say whatever you want and get away with it,” is just a delusion.

It is a claim with no substance nor foundation.

Even in the land of the “free and the brave” you are not free.

You are accountable for all your actions including your speech.

It is in the Quran:

“Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record].”
Quran 50:18

Can you currently as a an influential politician in Europe stand and speak freely against NATO? If you did, it would be career suicide. You are not free to do so.

Of all the people, politicians would probably be classified as the least free.

Being a good politician is one of the most challenging jobs to do anywhere on this earth. For how can a politician live by the Truth and speak the Truth when he or she is constantly coerced into the Machiavelli code of conduct?

Even despots now speak in tongues.

But we, just like the people before us, are commanded to speak good:

“And speak to people good [words]”
Quran 2:83

You can disagree and even burn this book if you wish, but it would be YOUR burden to carry.
