The spirit of the law

Moses, peace be upon him, was a model for the rule of law. Any outlaw cannot be seriously considered a follower of Moses, peace be upon him. “Thou shall not kill!” was turned into “Kill anyone you wish even if they were a Prophet!” by these outlaws. That is one of the seeds of destruction of any corrupt nation.

Isa (Jesus), peace be upon him, was a model for spirituality. That is a step beyond the letter of the law. It is a state where the rule law is followed, but with the strength that overcomes its burden. Its gate is that of humbleness. Anyone rooted in arrogance cannot be seriously considered a follower of Jesus, peace be upon him.

Muhammad, peace be upon him, was an embodiment of mercy. Any Islamic project that does not have mercy at its core is not to be considered as a serious following of Muhammad, peace be upon him.

Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace be upon them, are from the same stream of life except that one was at the beginning, the other in the middle and the last at the end.
