I have yet to meet someone who really worships stone idols.
It is of no surprise though to see some Jews worshipping their rabbis, or some Christians worshipping their priests, or some Muslims worshipping their Imams or some Atheists worshipping their leaders.
However, the most devastating of all is the worship of one’s ego.
“Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him.
That is the straight path.”

True. But how does one subdue and overthrow his ego? It’s very hard to do, in my experience.
